This is our 2nd time staying at Citadines Salcedo. We decided to stay here for my 40th birthday celebration/ staycation. The staff were exceptionally professional and made us feel really welcome during our stay. They were very courteous, and brought to our room all of our requests, e.g., yoga mats, GrabFood order etc. We also rented their bamboo bikes and took them for a spin at Ayala Triangle Gardens on a Sunday when it was mostly closed off from motorist traffic - it was a great way to experience Makati on quiet day. The room was complete with everything that we needed, e.g., clothes iron, pots, pans, drinking water etc. The shower temperature was consistent and just right. The hotel location was convenient, and we just walked to the nearby parks and malls.

The staff were great, really friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to get an early check-in and a late checkout, which we really appreciated. They ordered us taxis when we needed them. The cost to the airport is roughly 300p in a white metered taxi. The sniffer dog called Shane was beautiful Breakfast was in an adjoining cafe next door, we liked being able to choose from a set menu and having the food cooked freshly. Made a nice change from the usual breakfast buffet. The room was comfortable, powerful hot shower. The pool was nice too, and they have a laundry area with washing machines and dryers for guests. The hotel is within walking distance to numerous restaurants.

The Staff are very courteous and accommodating. check in and out process was a breeze. Room is basic but clean. We stayed in a studio which has all the amenities you will need for a short or long term stay in Manila such as a kitchenette complete with all basic utencils ,pots and pans, a 5 liter galloon of drinking water, Dishwashing soap and a small sponge which was small detail we appreciated and basic toiletries. We stayed for 3 nights and we loved that they have a variety of breakfast options to choose from. They even have vegan options on the menu. The location is also great as it is just a few blocks away from the mall and there are plenty of other food options and convenient stores around the area.

If you pay your booking in advance to booking.com, be careful when checking out and the hotel is trying to charge the same amount an other time. This happens In western brand hotels also and unfortunately it clearly seem not to be a human error. In places like Manila, people especially do choose western brand hotels based on safety and trust. The value of a brand is in real life business practices and responsibility. “Oh sorry Sir” type experiment of scamming is not a part of that… This is a growing type of problem with online hotel booking.

The staff is top notch! Always with a smile and helping hand. Special thanks to Tin, who did housekeeping for my room. She is so cheerful, smiley and professional. The staff at reception is also a wonderful bunch! This isn't my first stay here and each time gets better. Rooms are spacious and clean. Location is fabulous, plenty of eateries, laundrette, convenience stores, cafes. Breakfast is fantastic, plenty of choices. U won't get bored if u stay longer. Gym and pool also wonderful! Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Manila.
